This book is about people who never seem to get the chance to make life affirming decisions. Bad things keep happening to decent people. I am not really sure if I feel sorry for Regan or disappointed. All through the book I couldn't help but think 'this will end well for her, it just has to'. She goes through soooooo much. Then when she could make a better choice and go in a better direction, she makes the ultimate bad choice.
