Cain's Coven by Kristin King

I was hooked on the first page. This book is great except for the parts with the darkman. I saw no use for his inclusion into this story. There was enough love and angst between Justice and Claryn. There was enough intrigue and intensity between Justice, Chess and Jeff Adams. This story is well written and a distinct pleasure to read.

The Cowbear's Secret Christmas Baby by Liv Brywood

This is a very good book. You stay on the edge of your seat to find out if little Jimmy will be ok. His mom, Rachel, and his dad, Brady, have a lot to get over but it just shows how very important communication is in a relationship. This is a very good read.

I really liked this book. I liked big, sweet, fierce Zach. I also really liked curvy, sassy, feisty Amy. The only thing wrong with this book is that it was tooooooooo short.

Jocelyn is stubborn, strong and sassy. Harley is strong, dedicated and motivated. What happens when they collide and have to depend on each other for their lives? In this case, hopefully Justice won't prevail. I really enjoyed this romance.

Guarded Hearts by Bryce Evans

I really liked the characters in this book. The queen was human and the king obviously loves her. The prince is a little spoiled but he learns quickly what it will take to win his lady love. Lilly is somewhat childish for someone who wants to make it on a police force but she grows up too. This was a fun read.

Seeking the Oni by Cristina Rayne

Regarding Seeking the Oni: I loved this book. It had me hooked on the first page and never let go. It's all about Hannah, a normal, rather naïve, secretarial-assistant and Caleb an Oni, a demon. This book is a lot of fun and a little intrigue. The only problem with this book is that it is tooooo short.
