The Wolf You Feed

This is my review of 'The Wolf You Feed' by Angela Stevens. I didn't know what to expect with this book when I started it. I was lead to believe there would be little if any gratuitous sex and for that reason alone was excited to read it. I enjoy a story for being good entertainment and if making love is a necessary action to the plot, so be it. To say I was shocked by this story is a major understatement.

It took a couple of chapters to get the major players filled in and the the story took off like a rocket. We have young love, heartache, tragedy and emotional growth. This book is only the first of a trilogy but in itself covers three generations.

Our hero grows up with love only to find that love dependent on clan mores. When he tries to fight against those mores for love he finds out how very insane life can become. He continues to show his incredible strength as life takes him in crazy directions. Always he has the hope born of love. Will he be able to hold his family together after a horrendous act of violence threatens his very sanity? I can't wait for the next in this series to find out!
